Abstract

In the realm of sports and athletics, nutrition plays a pivotal role in determining the performance levels of athletes. A well-balanced diet directly influences an athlete's endurance, strength, agility, and recovery. The primary objective of this research paper is to examine how nutrition impacts the performance of players across various sports. This study discusses the essential nutrients required by athletes, the role of hydration, the significance of pre- and post-workout nutrition, and the implications of poor nutrition on an athlete's performance. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature and research studies, this paper highlights the correlation between nutrition and athletic performance, offering insights into how sports nutrition can be optimized for improved outcomes.
